    Bayo Adetomiwa is a Senior Associate with the firm and handles various aspects of Corporate Law, Corporate Restructuring, Mergers and Acquisition, Corporate Finance, Loan Syndication, Intellectual Property, Election Petition, Labour and Employment Law, Asset and Loan Recovery,Telecommunication Regulatory and Compliance at our Abuja office. He advises corporate and institutional entities on various specialised and complex transactions.

     

     

    Bayo presently combines the role of Deputy Head of Chambers with his other responsibilites. He advises corporate and institutional entities on both specialised and general commercial transactions requiring technical advisory services. He is an active member of the Dispute Resolution Team of the Firm and competently combines responsibility for the business goals of a modern Law Firm with considerable experience inlitigious and complex corporate matters and commercial transactions which his role demands.

    Bayo has a decent flair for practice administration having consistently handled management and administrative roles in two leading Nigerian commercial Law firms.

    • Playing active role in representing and defending the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) in numerous shareholder actions in connection with the financial institutions reforms of the CBN;                                                                                                                                                                                            
    • Advising and defending the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc. (NAHCO) in various court actions connected with aviation sector reforms of the Federal Government;                                                                                                                                                                                            
    • Represented and defended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the gubernatorial and legislative houses election petition as well as the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) in  connection with local government election petitions;                                                                                                 
    • Legal representation of individual and corporate clientele in connection with labour and employment disputes;                                                                                                                                                                     
    • Recovery of asset worth US$1.7M for a leading financial institution associated with a major multi-tiered project finance transaction;                                                                                                                                                                                 
    • Recovery of credit facilities worth N0.5 billion for a Microfinance institution;                                                                                                                                                                                            
    • Representing a top financial institution in connection with recovery of asset worth N4BN;
